A working paper and a blog on addressing resistance to antibiotics in pluralistic health systems

Over the past few years it has become apparent that a growing proportion of bacteria are resistant to the available drugs.

The STEPS Centre working paper reviews a number of strategies for improving the use of antibiotics.  It concludes that effective strategies need measures to ensure easy access to antibiotics, as well as those aimed at influencing providers and users of these drugs to use them appropriately. The blog is based on this paper.

We've now included both of these resources as part of the background resources for this website and community.
