The Scientific Advisory Committee is responsible for guiding the overall development of the Symposium as well as making decisions about the speakers and content for the plenary and parallel sessions.
This group is currently chaired by Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. However, leadership of the Committee rotates every two years. The Committee is committed to including more researchers from low and middle income countries and to broadening the range of academic disciplines in the group over time.
